I am writing to express my extreme concern regarding an unauthorized withdrawal from my YOUNITED CREDIT account. Despite making two bank transfers to reduce the outstanding loan amount, as per the institution’s platform, funds were erroneously and unjustly withdrawn from my account the following month.

This unauthorized withdrawal is a clear violation of my rights and constitutes fraudulent activity. I have made multiple attempts to resolve this issue, including contacting the institution directly, but they have consistently denied any wrongdoing and refused to cooperate.

As a result of this unauthorized withdrawal, I have been forced to pay an additional €70, which I consider to be a form of extortion. I am deeply disappointed by this experience and hope that justice will be served to protect other customers from similar situations.

Pros and Cons of YOUNITED CREDIT (Based on Personal Experience)

Younited Credit offers a lending service with both strengths and significant drawbacks. Initially, I appreciated the institution’s responsiveness, as I received the loan I had applied for within approximately one week. My experience was positive up to that point. However, my overall experience turned sour, resulting in a dramatic negative turn of events and, in my view, illegal activities.

The Issue

At one point, I made an instant bank transfer to reduce the outstanding loan amount. However, the following month, funds were erroneously and unjustly withdrawn from my account despite my having settled everything correctly. This unauthorized withdrawal is a clear violation of my rights and constitutes fraudulent activity. I have made multiple attempts to resolve this issue, including contacting the institution directly, but they have consistently denied any wrongdoing and refused to cooperate.

As a result of this unauthorized withdrawal, I have been forced to pay an additional €70, which I consider to be a form of extortion. I am deeply disappointed by this experience and hope that justice will be served to protect other customers from similar situations.

Upon further investigation, it was discovered that United Credit arbitrarily disregarded two valid instant transfers made through Intesa Sanpaolo, an intermediary bank. Any issues with the receipt of these payments are unrelated to me as a customer. Despite the payments intended to close the loan, United Credit falsely claimed that the balance remained unpaid, unjustly accusing me of insolvency.

Intimidation and Harmful Conduct

Instead of resolving the matter, United Credit:
1. Falsely reported my alleged insolvency to the Bank of Italy, damaging my financial reputation.
2. Unlawfully demanded an additional €71.96, which was not owed, despite all payments being completed and verifiable.

Actions Taken to Protect Consumer Rights

To safeguard my rights and financial standing, I have taken the following steps:
• Reported the institution’s misconduct to the Banking Supervision Authority (Bank of Italy) and AGECREDIT, urging them to investigate the company’s improper practices.
• Requested compensation for the damages—both moral and material—caused by their reckless and intimidating handling of the situation.
• Informed the relevant authorities to ensure that other consumers are protected from similar abuse.

A Final Appeal

A financial institution should uphold the principles of transparency, integrity, and respect for its customers, particularly for those who have consistently met their obligations punctually. I refuse to tolerate threats or intimidation based on unfounded claims.

I hope this account serves as a warning to both those subjected to such abuses and those who believe they can act against their clients with impunity. The law is clear, and such misconduct cannot be tolerated.

Despite previous call history wherein I have dealt with our joint application, the responder insisted that I must call back when my husband was available to discuss our application and he was "unable" to provide me with an update on our file. His tone was dismissive and patronising as he repeatedly requested to speak to my husband. To be fair, I tried calling back a couple of hours later and spoke to a lovely person who was very helpful.
